Opening a huge new production facility in Enfield was key to the expansion ambitions of north London’s all-conquering craft beer brand, Camden Town Brewery. And now all those shiny new tanks are fully operational and brimming with the good stuff, they’re inviting us all to come and take a look around.
Launching next weekend is a series of monthly events that offer food, family-friendly activities and yes, all the Hells you can handle (responsibly, of course), too. For only £20, chefs from the Brewery’s original home, The Horseshoe pub in Hampstead, will be cooking up brunchtime classics such as skillet-baked eggs with sausage or smashed avocado and poached eggs, alongside an unlimited spread of croissants, pretzels and granolas.
You’ve got 2-hours of eating and beer-drinking included in your ticket, all when perched on the mezzanine level with views right across the impressive new facilities.
Then, there’s a chance to take a tour (you’ve got to pre-book those, so see below) and learn all about the brewing process, or if that’s not your thing, perhaps go for the free art workshop, where the creative types Beach London plan to lead activities inspired by art greats, including making flower crowns inspired by Frida Kahlo, or going wild with Silly String in a Jackson Pollock stylie.
Hells, it sounds like a pretty tasty Saturday outing to us, and there’s even a kid-friendly silent cinema and a live brewing workshop to keep you and any little ‘uns busy, too. Plus, you can stagger off under the weight of various growlers and crowlers from the gift shop, when you’ve had your fill of all the activities.
To celebrate the first of these big days out, we’ve got 4 Bottomless Beer Brunch tickets up for grabs in a little giveaway. Simply add your email below and one of you will be able to take three mates along to the opening event on Sat 18th Nov. Over 18’s only.
If you’re not our lucky winner (or one of their equally lucky mates), brunch tickets for Sat 18th – and also for the next event on December 16th – can be purchased here. The Brewery tours need to be pre-booked separately at £15 a head. They run every two hours and take 1.5 hours to complete, including a beer tasting.
